AI Hub Privacy Policy

With respect to the various services or functions associated with the AI Hub device, please read the following content in addition to agreeing to our App Privacy Policy (see Profile - Preference - About) to fully understand how we collect, transmit, use, and store your information when you use the following services or functions of the AI Hub, as well as the measures we take to protect such information. Please carefully read and fully understand the content of this notice, and confirm your agreement. You have the right to decline this notice, but if you do so, we will not be able to provide you with the corresponding services or functions.

Please note: The following services or functions are limited to use in a home environment. Do not use them for any commercial purposes or in public environments. Do not use them to collect or use others’ personal information or for illegal purposes. Recognition results may be affected by lighting/environmental factors, among others. For visitors to your home, you must inform them of the personal information that may be collected and obtain their consent before using these functions. The information we collect may also involve personal characteristics, activities, home environment, and other personal information of you or other persons (including children). For information stored on our cloud servers, you may also refer to our App Privacy Policy for details regarding the storage of personal information.

1. AI Hub Face Recognition Function

1.1 Collection, Transmission and Use of Personal Information: After binding with designated Cam products associated with the AI Hub, our AI Hub device will provide face recognition functionality. When you agree to enable this function, the designated Cam product associated with the AI Hub will begin collecting your video (including images and sound) and transmit it locally to the AI Hub device. The AI Hub will recognize and tag the images in the video. Alternatively, you can take a photo or proactively upload a photo via the App, transmitting your photo and name to the AI Hub (in the case of remote upload, the above information will be transmitted through the cloud server, but will not be stored on the cloud server).

The AI Hub will send the tagging results to your App as messages through the cloud server for notification. The App will match the tagging results with events so that you can view the corresponding videos or images. If you have set up scene automation, the AI Hub will upload the tagging results to the cloud server to trigger the scene automation.

1.2 Storage of Personal Information: Your video images and sound information will be stored locally on the AI Hub device. Tagging results in message form will be uploaded and stored on the cloud server. You can view and download video images stored in the App as needed. For the AI Hub, the video images and sound information it collects will be stored on its built-in SD card.

1.3 Withdrawal of Consent: The face recognition function is a basic function of the AI Hub. We fully respect your data rights. If you need to cancel the face recognition function, you must delete the AI Hub. We will no longer collect or process your information in the manner described in this notice. For face information stored locally on the AI Hub, you can delete it manually. When you choose to (re)bind a Cam-type product, you will be deemed to have accepted and acknowledged this notice, as it is a necessary prerequisite for us to provide this function.

2. AI+ Service Video Collection Function

2.1 Collection of Personal Information: When you agree to enable this function and activate the service package, the camera/doorbell bound to the AI Hub will begin collecting your video images and use the AI model deployed locally on the camera to recognize and detect whether a person is moving or whether a scene change has occurred. Once an event-triggering video is detected (i.e., a person moving or a scene change), the camera will record the video of the event and transmit some images from these videos to the cloud server in encrypted form. We specifically remind you that these images may involve personal information of you, your family members, and visitors, such as personal characteristics (e.g., human shape, facial features, body features), behaviors and actions, home environment, furniture, and objects, and may also include information about children.

2.2 Transmission and Use of Personal Information: On the cloud server, we use deployed AI models to automatically recognize the above images (identifying information such as human shape, vehicle shape, pet, food, home appliances, objects, etc.) and perform analysis and processing to obtain structured data, including text descriptions, to describe and display the event process. The structured data described above will be transmitted to your App for storage and display. Based on this data, the App will retrieve the corresponding event video from the AI Hub and, in combination with specific scenarios, determine local devices and action instructions to be linked. You can search for events, search by image content, and link with local devices.

Please note: In step 2.1 above, the video data collected by the AI Hub will not be transmitted to the cloud server or any third party. In step 2.2, neither the image information nor the structured data processed on the cloud server will be transmitted to any third party.

2.3 Storage of Personal Information: Images and structured data uploaded to the cloud server will be stored on the cloud server. You can view and download event information stored in your App as needed. For the AI Hub, the video images it collects are stored on its built-in SD card. If the storage limit of the SD card is reached, when a new event occurs, the earliest event information will be automatically overwritten on a rolling basis.

When you use a third-party camera product that has been certified by us and agrees to our user agreement and privacy policy, such product only serves as a component of the Cam device bound to the AI Hub, and the AI+ service you enjoy is still provided by us. The above-mentioned third-party product provider will not independently collect, use, or store your personal information, nor will we share your personal information with them. Data generated when you use third-party products on Cam devices bound to the AI Hub will be stored and processed on our servers.

2.4 Withdrawal of Consent: We fully respect your data rights. If you need to cancel the AI+ service or stop the collection of the above personal information, please turn off the AI+ service directly in the App (at the same time, you must cancel your AI+ service subscription; we will stop charging after the current subscription period). The AI+ service function will cease immediately, and we will no longer collect or process your information in the manner described in this notice. When you choose to (re)use the AI+ service function, you will be deemed to have accepted and acknowledged this notice, as it is a necessary prerequisite for us to provide this function.

3. OpenClaw Function and AI Agent Plan Service

3.1 Collection of Personal Information

The AI Agent Plan Service relies on OpenClaw to provide services. When you agree to enable the AI Agent Plan Service and you initiate conversations, submit instructions, or upload content on OpenClaw (which is hosted on the AI Hub), we may collect and process billing-related information. Specifically, to implement billing by "number of calls" and verify your entitlements, we may record the number of calls, timestamps, order/transaction serial numbers, and other necessary information (excluding your complete payment information on third-party payment channels), and store it on our cloud servers solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and handling after-sales issues.

Please note: OpenClaw is deployed locally within the AI Hub. Regardless of whether you enable the AI Agent Plan Service, when you use the OpenClaw function, OpenClaw will collect the information you provide.

Information you actively provide while using the AI Agent Plan Service, such as conversation/instruction content (text) and content you actively upload/provide (such as images, audio, files, etc., depending on feature support), will be transmitted through an encrypted channel to the cloud servers of a third-party model service provider for processing, and the processing results will be returned to your OpenClaw for display and use. The above content may contain personal information of you or third parties, and may even include information of minors. Please provide such information with caution.

3.2 Transmission, Use and Storage of Personal Information

Your conversation history, uploaded content (if any), and generated results are stored entirely on OpenClaw, and are used to provide you with functions such as viewing history, troubleshooting, billing verification, and security risk control. You can view, download, or delete relevant information according to the functions provided by OpenClaw.

Third-party model service providers will process relevant data in accordance with their applicable user agreements and privacy policies. We will require our partners to adopt security measures no less than industry standards to protect data, and to transmit and process data only to the extent necessary to provide the AI Agent Plan Service.

To optimize user experience, we may collect instruction content (text) that you actively provide and the processing results returned by OpenClaw. After strict anonymization (ensuring that it cannot be linked back to you), this data may be used for model reinforcement training. Such content will be stored on the cloud server for a period of 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted through an automatic TTL (time-to-live) cleanup mechanism.

3.3 Withdrawal of Consent

We fully respect your data rights. If you need to cancel the AI Agent Plan Service or stop the collection of corresponding personal information, please stop using the AI Agent Plan Service and cancel your subscription. We will no longer collect or process your information in the manner described in this notice. When you choose to (re)use the AI Agent Plan Service, you will be deemed to have accepted and acknowledged this notice, as it is a necessary prerequisite for us to provide this service. If you need to stop the OpenClaw function from collecting corresponding personal information, please stop using the OpenClaw function and delete all scheduled tasks set on OpenClaw. For information stored locally on OpenClaw, you can delete it manually.
