Q: What is the exact number of days for the 6-month free reward?

A: For this campaign, regardless of the number of days in a month, we define 1 month = 30 days. Therefore, the total duration for the 6-month reward is 180 days.

Q: I claimed the 6-month free reward, but the status still shows "Trial".

A: KATA Friends comes with a 15-day free trial. The 6-month free reward will automatically take effect after the trial period ends.

Q: If I claim the reward during the 15-day trial, how will the remaining time be displayed?

A: The Remaining Trial Period and Remaining Essential Plan Reward Period will be displayed separately. The system will automatically switch to the Essential Plan once the trial ends.

Q: Will I be automatically charged after the 6-month free period ends?

A: No, you will not be charged automatically. To continue using the service after 6 months, you will need to purchase a plan separately.

Q: What happens to my free reward days while the device is out for repair?

A: The free reward period will continue to run during hospitalization (repairs) or health checkups (diagnostics). Thank you for your understanding.

Q: I purchased the device during the campaign, but it hasn’t arrived yet. Will I miss the reward if I miss the June 12 registration deadline?

A: If you purchased during the campaign period (May 12 – June 12) but your delivery is delayed due to stock or shipping issues, please contact customer support at support@switchbot.com. We will verify your purchase and assist you individually.
2. Claiming and Displaying the Reward

Q: The “Limited Offer” button does not appear in the app.

A: The “Limited Offer” button is only available for devices activated during the campaign period. If it does not appear, your device may not be eligible, or the claiming period may have ended.

Q: I bought two KATA Friends. Can I claim the reward for both?

A: Yes, the reward can be claimed once per device.
3. Using with Other Plans

Q: What happens if I entered a code for another plan before claiming the reward?

A: It depends on the type of plan activated:
Essential Plan: An additional 6 months will be automatically added to your current plan period.
Premium Plan: The Premium Plan will be applied first, followed by the 6-month Essential Plan. The start and end dates for both will be displayed separately.

Q: What happens if I enter an Essential Plan code during the 6-month free period?

A: Your current Essential Plan period will be automatically extended.

Q: What happens if I enter the Premium Plan code during the 6-month free period?

A: The Premium Plan will take effect after the 6-month Essential Plan ends. Start and end dates for both plans will be displayed separately.

Q: What if I want to use the Premium Plan immediately during the 6-month free period?

A: The remaining time of your current free Essential Plan will be forfeited and cannot be carried over. If you still wish to switch, please contact support at support@switch-bot.com.

Q: I purchased the One-Time Purchase Plan. Can I participate in this campaign?

A: You can claim the reward in the app, but it will not affect your existing plan. The One-Time Purchase Plan includes lifetime AI & software access and comes with the Premium Care Plan for the first year, which offers more comprehensive benefits than the Essential Plan.
4. What Is Not Included (Important Notes)

Q: Does this free reward include after-sales services such as repairs?

A: No, this reward applies to the Essential Plan, which covers AI and software services only. It does not include services such as hospitalization (repairs) or health checkups (diagnostics). However, the KATA Friends device includes a separate 100-day manufacturer’s warranty.
