The pro works without a hitch I haven't had no issues with it at all after I had calibrated it once this is a great design and great model and hope they have new devices for me to try out.
I had an August smart lock and it worked well but it used 4 AA batteries every month or so. After a while, I basically stopped replacing them. The Switchbot lock was almost as easy to install (the 4 small screws to secure it needs to be rethought). Since I already had a Switchbot smart hub for my Switchbot blind controllers, the lock quickly joined the home group that they are in. The notifications have been a little inconsistent about locking or opening so far but reasonably accurate. Still too soon to know about battery life but I bought the rechargeable battery pack so I can just recharge them. The battery life on the blind controllers has been excellent, so I have high hopes.
The switchbot lock pro are the best solution for let the house's keys in the pocket....nevermore without!!!

Easy installation, very solid product. Good app integration. Noise level ok.
Only thing that could be improved ist to provide more options regarding the attachment to the door. The 2 plates provided are either directly attached to the door ore to the key lock part- this one is a little shacks. The other one works only up to 2,5 mm.
I am using complete set (Lock Pro, Gateway and Keypad) for the period of use (approx. 3 weeks) I can state only positives.
- Installation is so easy (hardware and software setting) that is done in 30 minutes from taking box in to my hands till watching TV again (-;
- So far, I haven't noticed a single failure or error, not even a small one (always was able to reach the lock from app, no problems with locking/unlocking via fingerprints on touchpad no issue with alexa)
- The only small issue is, that children fingerprints (my 3yo son) are not recognized so good, but it may be another issue as are general physical limitation, but I was not checking it till now
Im super happy with this lock. So easy to install and use.

But then I realized it's useful if you have your hands full carrying something to your car or whatever and you kind of just tap it with your elbow as you walk by to unlock or lock it which I do think is a neat feature.

It's also a far better looking device and most importantly takes less than 10 minutes to install doesn't involve altering your existing lock inany way and still allows you to use your normal house key to unlock your house.

In terms of compatibility, the switchbot lock Pro will fit a much wider variety of locking mechanisms and cylinders because rather than replacing the cylinder the way this Lock Works is essentially by providing a robot that can turn your key in the lock.

I love that you only replace the inside thumb turn, so the actual deadbolt and the outside lock remains the same and doesn't even lock you know a smart lock from the outside that also means that you can continue using your same key that you've always used, no need to rekey the new lock.
