Upgraded our switchbot door to the pro version. The changes made have definitely made this product so much better. The fastening to the deadbolt method is far superior to the old method. The battery changout and rechargeable option makes it so much easier to maintain.

Perfect retrofit lock
I did not own a smart lock prior to this. I recently installed Home Assistant and was looking for a compatible device to use. The Lock Pro is definitely a winner. It took less than 5 minutes to put it on my side door, and all was well and working instantly. I have it added to Home Assistant via Matter and Bluetooth. Bluetooth provides more functionality at the moment, so please, SwitchBot company, get better Matter support for all the sensors on this lock. Other than that, it works great.

Outstanding retrofit lock
The SwitchBot Lock Pro is great for retrofitting an existing lock and keeping the same key. It's fairly inexpensive and works well. I also bought the Switchbot Hub so I can control the lock from anywhere. I got a set of SwitchBot tags too. I placed two tags outside on the door frame. I can lock and unlock the door by simply scanning a tag -- super easy and convenient. The only thing missing is Apple Home Key integration though I'm sure that would have increased the price so no big deal.

But then I realized it's useful if you have your hands full carrying something to your car or whatever and you kind of just tap it with your elbow as you walk by to unlock or lock it which I do think is a neat feature.

It's also a far better looking device and most importantly takes less than 10 minutes to install doesn't involve altering your existing lock inany way and still allows you to use your normal house key to unlock your house.

In terms of compatibility, the switchbot lock Pro will fit a much wider variety of locking mechanisms and cylinders because rather than replacing the cylinder the way this Lock Works is essentially by providing a robot that can turn your key in the lock.

I love that you only replace the inside thumb turn, so the actual deadbolt and the outside lock remains the same and doesn't even lock you know a smart lock from the outside that also means that you can continue using your same key that you've always used, no need to rekey the new lock.
